Don’t slack off when traveling during summer vacation, scientific epidemic prevention must be done well

As soon as the summer vacation arrives, many citizens make travel plans early. However, the current global epidemic is still spreading. There are still risks of community spread and spillover of local epidemics in many places in China, and the prevention and control situation is still severe and complicated. For the health of yourself and your family, remember to do the following when traveling during the holidays!

Make “three mornings” before your trip

Early planning: Before traveling, understand the specific prevention and control policies of the destination, and report to the community (village) and unit where the destination is located in advance. Do not go to medium and high-risk areas and areas with local epidemic reports. It is recommended to choose short-distance travel; Understand the situation of scenic spots and try to choose scenic spots with good ventilation; choose online reservations, avoid the peak hours of scenic spots and travel at different peaks.

Early preparations: Before departure, prepare enough medical masks, and prepare hand sanitizers (note that alcohol-based hand sanitizers cannot be carried on the plane), disinfectant wipes, etc.; bring enough warm clothes to avoid catching cold.

Early assessment: Those with clinical symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, etc. within 7 days before travel, try to avoid unnecessary travel; elderly, chronically ill, pregnant women and other groups are not recommended to travel.

Do a good job in the “six measures” during the journey

Wearing a mask: Citizens should always maintain a sense of personal protection during the trip, pay attention to carrying a mask with them, and wear masks in a correct manner. Especially when taking public transportation such as airplanes, cars, high-speed rails, and in crowded scenic spots, masks should be worn throughout the process.

Keeping distance: When waiting in line at stations, scenic spots and other places, pay attention to keeping a safe distance of more than 1 meter from others; try to avoid crowds gathering when visiting scenic spots.

Hand hygiene: keep your hands clean, don’t touch or touch them everywhere; follow respiratory hygiene etiquette, cover your coughs and sneezes with your elbows or tissues; try to use electronic payments when paying to reduce contact.

Frequent ventilation: Choose hotels and hotels with better sanitation and better ventilation facilities to check in, and open windows for ventilation in time after check-in.

Eat less meals: During the journey, reduce the number of meals on public transportation. If you must eat, avoid eating face-to-face with other passengers, and do not talk during meals; it is recommended to use public spoons and chopsticks for dinner parties to reduce cross-infection.

Attendance record: During the journey, pay attention to record the itinerary, including the flight, time and seat number of public transportation such as airplanes and trains, the name, address, and names of companions of dining restaurants or accommodation hotels.

Continue to maintain awareness of protection after returning home

Frequent disinfection: After getting off the bus and going home, use 75% alcohol or chlorine-containing disinfectant to spray and wash coats, pants, scarves, suitcases and mobile phones, etc. After processing, wash hands with running water and disinfectant (soap) in time.

Quick report: Pay close attention to the epidemic situation. If you find that you or your family members have been to medium and high-risk areas or areas with local epidemic reports in the past 7 days after your return trip, or have an intersection with the trajectory of positive infections, please take the initiative as soon as possible. Report to the community, work unit or hotel where you live, and cooperate with health management such as medical isolation observation or health monitoring.

Get together less: less gathering, less visiting, less unnecessary dinner parties, less going to crowded places.

Seek medical treatment early: Citizens returning from travel should do corresponding health management and self-health monitoring according to relevant epidemic prevention requirements. If you have symptoms such as fever, cough, diarrhea, fatigue, etc., you should wear a disposable medical mask or above, go to the nearest fever clinic for investigation and diagnosis and treatment, and try to avoid taking public transportation during the medical treatment.

At the same time, please continue to maintain a good sense of personal protection after returning home from the trip, and adhere to the “three-piece epidemic prevention”: wearing masks, maintaining social distance, and doing good personal hygiene. Keep in mind the “five requirements for protection”: wear masks, keep social distance, cover coughs and sneezes, wash hands frequently, and open windows as much as possible.

Remind the public again: When traveling during the summer vacation, personal protection must be done well! Physical holiday, health can not take a holiday!
